Indubitable Beginning

Of all the theories that surround the origin of the world, the Bible stands definite.

Take a look for example the Big Bang theory (the large explosion that many scientists believe created the universe) it’s inconclusive. What happened? What collided? Who witnessed it? Another is Darwin’s theory of evolution(how living things change and develop over millions of years) I mean that’s too much to take in. Why aren’t these developments happening today? Humans no longer develop from apes, why?

Have you had about the Accretion (500 million years ago: Gathering together of dust particles from a cloud of dust and gas in cold continents) that supposedly led to the formation of you and me? What do you think?

According to the bible the world was created by a God, all-powerful, omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent, I mean he made himself known to our first parents, he has walked amongst man and he came to the world in flesh and blood and he has promised us still, I am coming again to take you to be with me forever. This is more than evidence could give.

“Could men fully understand the ways and works of God, they would not then believe Him to be the infinite One? He is not to be comprehended by man in His wisdom, reasons, and purposes. “His ways are past finding out” [Romans 11:33].

Flora and Fauna

So what explains the trees and the mountains and all the wonderful nature that surrounds us today? The answer is, that you won’t get any detailed explanation from the former theories.  The Bible only gives a detailed explanation as to how and when these emanated. It says God created everything in six days, the details are as follows.  {Gen 1}

Creation Week

  • Day one:      light; sequence of day and night
  • Day two:      earth’s atmosphere
  • Day three:   dry land and vegetation
  • Day four:     sun and moon appeared
  • Day five:     birds and fish
  • Day six:       land animals and men

Read {Genesis 1} through.

(24hr) Day and night system

The same 24hr system that we use to measure our time today is the same measurement God used when creating the universe.

In John 11:9 “Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world. 10 But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him”.

There is also a count of hours during events leading to the death of Christ.

Luke 23:44-46 “And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. 45 And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. 46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. KJV

You see long before scientists influenced the world the bible only was the science of the world. Looks to me as if science is a borrowed subject.

Languages

So how did we come to be different populaces speaking diverse languages and having varying cultures and backgrounds? God created our first parents Adam and Eve and gave them a command as follows Gen 1:27-28 ‘So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

What happened next you wonder?
And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. 7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. 8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth…KJV.

Very clear isn’t it? Now you understand why we are what we are today. Yesterday we were one family, brother, and sister with the same parents and speaking the same language until something evil befell us and we were separated and do continue to separate ourselves till today. That’s bad. We are one people with the same blood but different colors. I like it when they say the only thing that must be separated by color is laundry.

Evidence of common places

From the very onset, the Bible is quick to point out familiar places that add to its genuineness.

From the very onset the Bible is quick to point out familiar places that add to its genuineness.

Gen 2:10-14 “And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads. 11 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; 12 And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone. 13 And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia. 14 And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates. KJV.

Now take out your atlas and look for these rivers on the world map and you will see the exact locations of the Garden of Eden where Adam and Eve lived before it was taken away. Geologists believe that the planet earth was once a complete mass of land which was intact divided by rivers and streams only. They say 180 million years ago the continents were once joined (Pangaea).

This is evident from the jigsaw fit of the ages of the continents. I do agree with them on that one as that’s exactly what the new earth will look like when it’s finally restored. Rev 21:1 “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea”. KJV

Life burdens explained

How is it that people work, marry, wear, eat, sleep and die, etc.? Who started all that? Only the bible can tell.

About working this is what happened.

Gen 3:17
“ And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;” KJV

The reasons for wearing are as follows:

Gen 3:7
And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. 21. Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them. KJV

The reason we die is as follows:

Gen 3:18-19
thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; 19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. KJV

The reason why giving birth is painful is as follows:

Gen 3:16
Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. KJV

The reason why we marry is as follows:

Gen 2:23-25
And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. 25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. KJV

Traceable events

Did you know that Biblical events can be traceable from Adam to the present day which is, you can determine how old the world is by doing an age count from Adam to the year present?

Read Genesis 5 and Luke 3:23-38
“And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli,
24 Which was the son of Matthat, which was the son of Levi, which was the son of Melchi, which was the son of Janna, which was the son of Joseph,
25 Which was the son of Mattathias, which was the son of Amos, which was the son of Naum, which was the son of Esli, which was the son of Nagge,
36 Which was the son of Cainan, which was the son of Arphaxad, which was the son of Shem, which was the son of Noe, which was the son of Lamech,
37 Which was the son of Mathusala, which was the son of Enoch, which was the son of Jared, which was the son of Maleleel, which was the son of Cainan,
38 Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God. KJV

Very impressive don’t you think. You can even count vice-versa using Genesis 5 beginning from Adam.

The Word Evidence

It is believed that everything was created through the word. Who or what was this word? What proof do we have of this word? Well let’s find out from the book of

John 1:1-4

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. KJV

When you read through this chapter everything points to the one man Jesus Christ the Son of God. The following are some of his marvelous works that will show you that the Bible wasn’t insincere when it said “without him was not anything made that was made”

Mark 11:12-14
And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:
13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it. Mark 11:20
20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. KJV

Not only did Jesus do that he also spoke to the sea and it obeyed him {Mark 4:39-41} he raised the dead a number of times {Mark 5:38-40} he walked on water {Matt 14:25} and more things did he.

God its Author

Now we come to the interesting part. Who wrote the Bible? That’s quite simple given the narrative from Adam to today. It could be concluded that historical events could therefore be passed orally from one generation to another or through the written book. Not so with the bible. Let’s find out

2 Peter 1:20-21
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. KJV

Isn’t that interesting? No one interprets the bible but God himself.

2 Tim 3:16-17
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect throughly furnished unto all good works. KJV

Who is this God if I may ask?

Job 12:7-10
7 But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee: 8 Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee. 9 Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this? 10 In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind. KJV

Written for everybody

To whom is the bible intended? God has written the bible to all his children on earth including me and you. He has installed it with wonderful gifts and promises for us to claim and enjoy. When Jesus left the planet he had this to say

Matt 28:19-20
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. KJV

Now you see God intended the bible for all peoples, tribes, and nations. Next time someone tells you it’s all a lie or that it is a made-up story you know the answers to that. I have helped you it’s now your turn to help others find the truth.

That’s it for me, the 10 reasons why I trust the bible and why I believe you should too.

THE CHOICE IS YOURS! What will you use to improve your life from today onwards? God’s word or man’s thoughts?

GOD BLESS!!
